This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it primarily teaches how the text is organized—placing the preceding teaching/story within the Mokṣa-dharma (liberation-oriented) framework of the Śānti Parvan, and signaling closure and continuity in the transmission of dharma and mokṣa teachings.
The chapter concludes. The colophon states that the discussion belonged to the Śānti Parvan’s Mokṣa-dharma section and that the chapter’s theme was Śuka’s origin (Śukotpatti), identifying it as the 326th chapter.
