येन येन हि यस्यार्थ: कारणेनेह कर्मणि । तत्तदालम्बते सर्व: स्वे स्वे स्वार्थपरिग्रहे
yena yena hi yasyārthaḥ kāraṇeneha karmaṇi | tattad ālambate sarvaḥ sve sve svārthaparigrahe ||
ଜନକ କହିଲେ— ଏହି କର୍ମଲୋକରେ ଯାହାର ଯେଉଁ ଅଭିଷ୍ଟ ଅର୍ଥ ସିଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଁ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ସାଧନ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ, ସେ ସେହି ସାଧନକୁ ଆଶ୍ରୟ କରେ; କାରଣ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟସାଧନରେ ତତ୍ପର ହୋଇ ଉପଯୋଗୀ ଉପକରଣକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ।
