ववृधे स यथाकालं सरसीव महोत्पलम्‌ | बभूव काजञ्चनष्ठीवी यथार्थ नाम तस्य तत्‌

Transliteration

vavṛdhe sa yathākālaṃ sarasīva mahotpalam | babhūva kāñcanaṣṭhīvī yathārthaṃ nāma tasya tat ||

Translation

ସେ ଯଥାକାଳ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଲା—ଯେପରି ସରୋବରେ ମହାପଦ୍ମ ବଢ଼େ। ମୁଖରୁ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥୁକୁଥିବାରୁ ସେ ‘ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣଷ୍ଠୀବୀ’ ନାମରେ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ହେଲା; ତାହାର ନାମ ସତ୍ୟରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ଥିଲା।
