स्वक्षरं प्रश्मितं वाक्‍्यं मधुरं चाप्यनुल्बणम्‌ | पप्रच्छर्षिवरं राजा करालजनक: पुरा

Transliteration

svakṣaraṁ praśmitaṁ vākyaṁ madhuraṁ cāpy anulbaṇam | papracchārṣivaraṁ rājā karālajanakaḥ purā ||

Translation

ପୂର୍ବକାଳରେ କରାଳ-ଜନକ ରାଜା ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଋଷିଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ— ସୁସଂଗଠିତ ଅକ୍ଷରଯୁକ୍ତ ବାକ୍ୟରେ, ମୃଦୁ ହାସ୍ୟମିଶ୍ରିତ ସ୍ୱରରେ, ମଧୁର ଓ ସଂଯତ ଭାଷାରେ, କଠୋରତା ଓ କୁତର୍କରହିତ ଭାବେ।
