वेदवादांस्तथा चित्रानृतूनां पर्ययांस्तथा । क्षयं संवत्सराणां च मासानां च क्षयं तथा,वेदोंके भाँति-भाँतिके विचित्र वचन, ऋतुओंके परिवर्तन तथा दिन, पक्ष, मास और संवत्सर आदि काल जो प्रतिक्षण बीत रहा है, उसकी ओर भी ध्यान दे। चन्द्रमाकी हासवृद्धि तो प्रत्यक्ष दिखायी देती है। समुद्रोंका ज्वारभाटा भी प्रत्यक्ष ही है। धनवानोंके धनका नाश और नाशके बाद पुनः वृद्धिका क्रम भी दृष्टिगोचर होता ही रहता है। इन सबको देखकर अपने कर्तव्यका निश्चय करे

ବେଦର ନାନାବିଧ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟଜନକ ବଚନ, ଋତୁମାନଙ୍କ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ, ଏବଂ ବର୍ଷ-ମାସ ସହିତ କାଳର ଅବିରତ କ୍ଷୟ—ଏସବୁ ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଚିନ୍ତନ କର। ସମସ୍ତ ବସ୍ତୁର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଓ ହ୍ରାସ ଦେଖି, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନିଶ୍ଚଳ ମନେ ଓ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟତାରେ ନିଜ କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣୟ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
