Śānti-parva Adhyāya 30: Nārada–Parvata Samaya-bhaṅga, Śāpa, and the Marriage of Sukumārī
श्रीकृष्ण उवाच अत्र ते वर्णयिष्यामि यथावृत्तं जनेश्वर । नारद: पर्वतश्चैव द्वावृषी लोकसत्तमौ,श्रीकृष्ण बोले--जनेश्वर! इस विषयमें जो बात है, वह यथार्थरूपसे बता रहा हूँ, सुनिये। नारद और पर्वत--ये दोनों ऋषि सम्पूर्ण लोकोंमें श्रेष्ठ हैं
śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca | atra te varṇayiṣyāmi yathāvṛttaṃ janeśvara | nāradaḥ parvataś caiva dvāv ṛṣī lokasattamau ||
ଶ୍ରୀକୃଷ୍ଣ କହିଲେ— “ଜନେଶ୍ୱର! ଏଠାରେ ଯାହା ଯେପରି ଘଟିଥିଲା, ସେହିପରି ମୁଁ ତୁମକୁ କହିବି; ଶୁଣ। ନାରଦ ଓ ପର୍ବତ—ଏହି ଦୁଇ ଋଷି ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ।”
