अव्यक्त-प्रबोधः (Awakening to the Unmanifest): The 25th and 26th Principles and Eligibility for Brahma-vidyā

क्रूरताका अभाव (दया), अहिंसा, अप्रमाद (सावधानी), देवता-पितर आदिको उनके भाग समर्पित करना अथवा दान देना, श्राद्धकर्म, अतिथिसत्कार, सत्य, अक्रोध, अपनी ही पत्नीमें संतुष्ट रहना, पवित्रता रखना, कभी किसीके दोष न देखना, आत्मज्ञान तथा सहनशीलता--ये सभी वर्णोंके सामान्य धर्म हैं ।। ब्राह्मणा: क्षत्रिया वैश्यास्त्रयो वर्णा द्विजातय: । अत्र तेषामधीकारो धर्मेषु द्विपदां वर

brāhmaṇāḥ kṣatriyā vaiśyās trayo varṇā dvijātayaḥ | atra teṣām adhīkāro dharmeṣu dvipadāṁ vara ||

ଦୟା (କ୍ରୂରତାର ଅଭାବ), ଅହିଂସା, ଅପ୍ରମାଦ (ସାବଧାନତା), ଦେବତା ଓ ପିତୃମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଭାଗ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିବା ଏବଂ ଦାନ, ଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧକର୍ମ, ଅତିଥିସତ୍କାର, ସତ୍ୟ, ଅକ୍ରୋଧ, ନିଜ ପତ୍ନୀରେ ସନ୍ତୋଷ, ପବିତ୍ରତା, କାହାରି ଦୋଷ ନ ଦେଖିବା, ଆତ୍ମଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ସହନଶୀଳତା—ଏହି ସବୁ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣମାନଙ୍କ ସାଧାରଣ ଧର୍ମ। ଏବଂ ହେ ଦ୍ୱିପଦଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ! ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ, କ୍ଷତ୍ରିୟ ଓ ବୈଶ୍ୟ—ଏହି ତିନି ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦ୍ୱିଜ; ଧର୍ମବିଷୟରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଅଧିକାର ଅଛି।
