Adhyāya 287 — Janaka’s Inquiry on Śreyas, Abhayadāna, and Asaṅga

यत्रागमयमानानामसत्कारेण पृच्छताम् | प्रत्ूयाद् ब्रह्मणो धर्म त्यजेत् तं देशमात्मवान्
yatrāgamayamānānām asatkāreṇa pṛcchatām | prabrūyād brāhmaṇo dharmaṃ tyajet taṃ deśam ātmavān ||
ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶରେ ଲୋକେ ଅସଦ୍ଭାବ ଓ ଅନାଦର ସହିତ ଧର୍ମବିଷୟକ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରନ୍ତି, ତଥାପି ଜଣେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧର୍ମ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଇଥାନ୍ତି—ସେହି ଦେଶକୁ ଆତ୍ମସଂଯମୀ ସାଧକ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
