भीष्म उवाच एवमुकत्वा तु सा देवी तदा पशुपतिं पतिम्‌ । तृष्णी भूताभवद्‌ राजन्‌ दहाुमानेन चेतसा

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca evam uktvā tu sā devī tadā paśupatiṁ patim | tṛṣṇī-bhūtābhavad rājan dahyamānena cetasā ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ହେ ରାଜନ୍! ନିଜ ପତି ପଶୁପତିଙ୍କୁ ଏଭଳି କହି ସେ ଦେବୀ (ପାର୍ବତୀ) ନିରବ ହୋଇଗଲେ; କିନ୍ତୁ ଶୋକରେ ତାଙ୍କ ଚେତନା ଭିତରେ ଭିତରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହେଉଥିଲା।
