Parāśara’s Counsel on बुद्धि (Discernment), Karma-Consequences, and Avoidance of Pāpānubandha Actions
फिर तो दुन्दुभियाँ, जोर-जोरसे बजनेवाले शंख, ढोल और नगाड़े आदि सहस्रों बाजे बजाये जाने लगे ।।
asurāṇāṃ tu sarveṣāṃ smṛtilopo mahān abhūt | māyānāśaś ca balavān kṣaṇena samapadyata ||
ତାପରେ ଦୁନ୍ଦୁଭି, ଉଚ୍ଚନାଦୀ ଶଙ୍ଖ, ଢୋଲ ଓ ଡିଣ୍ଡିମ ଆଦି ସହସ୍ର ସହସ୍ର ବାଦ୍ୟ ବାଜି ଉଠିଲା। ତେବେ ସମସ୍ତ ଅସୁରଙ୍କ ସ୍ମୃତିଶକ୍ତିର ଭୟଙ୍କର ଲୋପ ହେଲା; ଏବଂ କ୍ଷଣମାତ୍ରରେ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ମାୟା ପ୍ରବଳଭାବେ ସମୂଳେ ନଶ୍ଟ ହୋଇଗଲା।
भीष्म उवाच
Power grounded in deception and pride is unstable. When clarity and remembrance (smṛti) are lost, strength collapses; dharmic or higher forces can shatter māyā in an instant, showing that inner steadiness is more decisive than outward might.
A thunderous sounding of many war-instruments arises. At that moment the Asuras collectively suffer a great lapse of memory and composure, and their magical/illusory powers are suddenly destroyed.
