दृश्यते चाप्यतिक्रामन्ननिग्राह्मो5थवा पुनः । कोई इस सेतुका उल्लंघन करता दिखायी नहीं देता अथवा पहले भी किसीने इसका उल्लंघन किया हो

Transliteration

dṛśyate cāpyatikrāmann anigrāhyo ’thavā punaḥ |

Translation

ଜନକ କହନ୍ତି—ସାଧାରଣତଃ କେହି ଏହି ସ୍ଥାପିତ ସେତୁକୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରୁଥିବା ଦେଖାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ; ପୂର୍ବକାଳରେ ମଧ୍ୟ କେହି ଏହାକୁ ଲଂଘିଥିଲେ—ଏପରି କଥା ସାଧାରଣତଃ ଶୁଣାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ କେବେ କେବେ ଏମିତି ଜଣେ ପୁରୁଷ—ଯେ ଦୈବର ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣରେ ରହିବାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ, ଯେ ତପସ୍ୟା ଆଦି ପ୍ରବଳ ପୁରୁଷାର୍ଥରେ ଭାଗ୍ୟବନ୍ଧନକୁ ଶିଥିଳ କରେ—ସେ ଏହି ସେତୁକୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରୁଥିବା ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଖାଯାଏ।
