शुद्धां गतिं तां परमां परैति शुद्धेन नित्यं मनसा विचिन्वन्‌ । ततोडव्ययं स्थानमुपैति ब्रह्म दुष्प्रापमभ्येति स शाश्वतं वै

Transliteration

śuddhāṃ gatiṃ tāṃ paramāṃ paraiti śuddhena nityaṃ manasā vicinvan | tato 'vyayaṃ sthānam upaiti brahma duṣprāpam abhyeti sa śāśvataṃ vai ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ— ଯେ ସାଧକ ସଦା ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ମନରେ ସେହି ନିର୍ମଳ ପରମଗତିର ନିରନ୍ତର ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରେ, ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତାହାକୁ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରେ। ତାପରେ ସେ ଅବ୍ୟୟ, ଦୁର୍ଲଭ ଓ ସନାତନ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପଦକୁ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରି ସେଠାରେ ହିଁ ଦୃଢ଼ଭାବେ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ ହୁଏ।
