कृतानां फलमप्राप्तं कार्याणां कर्मसज्ञिनाम्‌

Transliteration

kṛtānāṃ phalam aprāptaṃ kāryāṇāṃ karmasaṃjñinām

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—କରାଯାଇଥିବା କର୍ମର ଫଳ ମିଳେ ନାହିଁ; ଏବଂ ଯେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସତ୍ୟରେ ‘କର୍ମ’ ନାମରେ ପରିଚିତ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଫଳ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ରହିଯାଏ।
