Shloka 13
स तु बद्धाञज्जलिं सत्यमयाचद्धरिण: पुनः । सत्येन स परिष्वज्य संदिष्टो गम्पतामिति,सत्य सावित्रीदेवीकी ओर हाथ जोड़कर खड़ा था। इतनेहीमें उस हरिणने पुनः अपनी आहुति देनेके लिये याचना की। सत्यने मृगको हृदयसे लगा लिया और बड़े प्यारसे कहा --तुम यहाँसे चले जाओ'
sa tu baddhāñjaliṃ satyam ayācad dhariṇaḥ punaḥ | satyena sa pariṣvajya saṃdiṣṭo gampatām iti ||
ସତ୍ୟ ହାତ ଯୋଡ଼ି ଭକ୍ତିଭାବରେ ଦାଁଡ଼ି ରହି ପୁଣି ସେ ହରିଣକୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ହରିଣଟି ପୁଣିଥରେ ନିଜକୁ ଆହୁତି ଭାବେ ଦେବାକୁ ଯାଚନା କଲା। ସତ୍ୟ ତାକୁ ହୃଦୟରୁ ଆଲିଙ୍ଗନ କରି ସ୍ନେହରେ କହିଲା— “ଏଠାରୁ ଚାଲିଯା।”
