परिव्राजक-आचारः (Conduct of the Wandering Renunciant) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 269
एवमेव ब्रह्माचारी शुश्रूषुर्घोरनिश्वय: । एवं युक्तो ब्राह्मण: स्यादन्यो ब्राह्मणको भवेत्
evam eva brahmacārī śuśrūṣur ghoraniścayaḥ | evaṁ yukto brāhmaṇaḥ syād anyo brāhmaṇako bhavet ||
ସେହିପରି ଯେ ବ୍ରହ୍ମଚାରୀ ଗୁରୁସେବାରେ ନିରତ, ବ୍ରହ୍ମଚର୍ୟରେ ନିଷ୍ଠ, ଦୃଢ଼ ନିଶ୍ଚୟବାନ୍ ଏବଂ ଯୋଗଶାସନରେ ଯୁକ୍ତ—ସେଇ ସତ୍ୟ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ହୁଏ। ଅନ୍ୟଥା ସେ ନିମ୍ନ କୋଟିର ବା କେବଳ ନାମମାତ୍ର ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ଭାବେ ଗଣ୍ୟ।
