यज्ञेऽहिंसा-प्राधान्यम्

Primacy of Non-Harm in Sacrificial Ethics

तस्मात्‌ प्रमाणत: कार्यों धर्म: सूक्ष्मो विजानता । अहिंसा सर्वभूते भ्यो धर्मेभ्यो ज्यायसी मता

tasmāt pramāṇataḥ kāryo dharmaḥ sūkṣmo vijānatā | ahiṁsā sarvabhūtebhyo dharmebhyo jyāyasī matā ||

ଏହେତୁ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମତା ବୁଝୁଥିବା ବିବେକୀ ପୁରୁଷ ପ୍ରମାଣ—ବିଶେଷତଃ ବେଦୀୟ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ—ଆଧାରରେ ଧର୍ମର ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣୟ କରିବା ଉଚିତ। ସମସ୍ତ ଭୂତଜୀବ ପ୍ରତି ଯେ ଧର୍ମଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବିଧିତ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅହିଂସାକୁ ସର୍ବୋତ୍କୃଷ୍ଟ ମନାଯାଇଛି।
