Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca |

atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam |

tulādhārasya vākyāni dharme jājalinā saha ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ରାଜନ୍! ଏଠାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ଏକ ପୁରାତନ ଇତିହାସ ଉଦାହରଣ ଦେଉଛି। ଧର୍ମବିଷୟରେ ଜାଜଲିଙ୍କ ସହ ତୁଲାଧାର ବୈଶ୍ୟଙ୍କ ଉକ୍ତିମାଳା ଏହାର ବିଷୟ।
