तस्माद्‌ बुद्धान्ति पुरुषा न हि तत्‌ कस्यचिद्‌ ध्रुवम्‌ | श्रद्धधानस्ततो लोको दद्याच्चैव यजेत च

Transliteration

tasmād buddhānti puruṣā na hi tat kasyacid dhruvam | śraddadhānas tato loko dadyāc caiva yajeta ca ||

Translation

ଏହିହେତୁ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନମାନେ ବୁଝନ୍ତି—ଧନ କେବେ ମଧ୍ୟ କାହାରି ପାଖରେ ସ୍ଥିର ରହେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାବାନ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଉଚିତ ସେଇ ଧନ ଦାନ କରିବା ଏବଂ ଯଜ୍ଞରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟୟ କରିବା—କ୍ଷଣଭଙ୍ଗୁର ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିକୁ ଚିରସ୍ଥାୟୀ ପୁଣ୍ୟ ଓ ଲୋକହିତ ପାଇଁ ନିୟୋଜିତ କରିବା।
