मृत्युकारणप्रश्नः / Inquiry into the Cause and Designation of Death

ताम्येयु: प्रच्युता: पृथ्व्या यथा पूर्णा नदीं नरा: | अवगाढा हाविद्वांसो विद्धि लोकमिमं तथा

Transliteration

tāmyeyuḥ pracyutāḥ pṛthvyā yathā pūrṇāṃ nadīṃ narāḥ | avagāḍhā hāvidvāṃso viddhi lokam imaṃ tathā ||

Translation

ବ୍ୟାସ କହିଲେ—ଯେପରି ନଦୀତଟରୁ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣଜଳ ନଦୀରେ ପଡ଼ିଯାଇ, ପହଁରିବା କଳା ନଜାଣିଥିବା ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଡୁବି-ଉଠି ମହାକ୍ଲେଶ ସହେ; ସେପରି ଅଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଲୋକ ଏହି ସଂସାର-ସାଗରରେ ନିମଗ୍ନ ହୋଇ ନିରନ୍ତର ଦୁଃଖ ଭୋଗ କରନ୍ତି—ଏଭଳି ଜାଣ।
