व्यास उवाच
The Supreme Reality is present in all mortal bodies yet remains unmanifest; steady contemplative insight (anupaśyati) into this indwelling Brahman qualifies one for liberation—attaining Brahmanhood after death.
In Śānti Parva’s instruction on peace and liberation, Vyāsa teaches a metaphysical point: the seeker should perceive the unmanifest Supreme within all beings; such sustained inner vision leads toward mokṣa.
