Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
vyāsa uvāca | brahma tejo-mayaṁ śukraṁ yasya sarvam idaṁ jagat | ekasya brahma-bhūtasya dṛśyaṁ sthāvara-jaṅgamam ||
The verse grounds the diversity of the world (moving and unmoving beings) in a single luminous, pure Reality—Brahman—implying that multiplicity is a manifestation dependent on the One.
Vyāsa begins an instruction on creation and cosmic order, introducing Brahman as the radiant source from which the manifested universe—both animate and inanimate—appears.
