भीष्म उवाच
Liberation is attained through disciplined adherence to moksha-oriented dharmas, especially moderation in food and mastery of the senses; such self-restraint leads to the imperishable state of Brahman beyond material nature (Prakriti).
In the Shanti Parva’s instruction on moksha-dharma, Bhishma continues advising Yudhishthira, stating that a regulated, temperate, sense-controlled life devoted to liberation culminates in realizing/attaining Brahman.
