पृथिवी ज्योतिराकाशमापो वायुश्च॒ पठचम: । एतद्योनीनि भूतानि तत्र का परिदेवना

Transliteration

śakra uvāca | pṛthivī jyotir ākāśam āpo vāyuś ca pañcamaḥ | etad-yonīni bhūtāni tatra kā paridevanā ||

Translation

ଶକ୍ର କହିଲେ—ପୃଥିବୀ, ଅଗ୍ନି (ଜ୍ୟୋତି), ଆକାଶ, ଜଳ ଏବଂ ପଞ୍ଚମ ବାୟୁ—ଏହିମାନେ ଦେହଧାରୀ ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କର ଯୋନି (ଉପାଦାନ) । ସମସ୍ତେ ଏହି ତତ୍ତ୍ୱମାନଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ଜନ୍ମ ନେଇ ପୁଣି ଏହିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲୀନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ତେବେ ଶୋକ ଓ ବିଲାପ କାହିଁକି?
