अद्यैक॑ दिवसं विप्रा न वो5स्तीह भयं क्वचित् | राक्षसे भ्य: प्रमोदध्वमिष्टतो यात माचिरम्
adyaikaṁ divasaṁ viprā na vo ’stīha bhayaṁ kvacit | rākṣasebhyaḥ pramodadhvam iṣṭato yāta mā ciram, rājan |
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ— “ହେ ବିପ୍ରମାନେ! ଆଜି—ଏହି ଏକ ଦିନ—ଏଠାରେ ରାକ୍ଷସମାନଙ୍କ ତରଫରୁ ତୁମମାନଙ୍କୁ କେଉଁଠି ମଧ୍ୟ ଭୟ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ଆନନ୍ଦ କର; ଶୀଘ୍ର ନିଜ ଇଚ୍ଛିତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଯାଅ; ବିଳମ୍ବ କରନି, ରାଜନ।”
