ततो महारहैस्ते सर्वे रत्नैरभ्यर्चिता: शुभै: । ब्राह्मणा मृष्टवसना: सुप्रीता: सम ततो5भवन्
tato mahārahais te sarve ratnair abhyarcitāḥ śubhaiḥ | brāhmaṇā mṛṣṭa-vasanāḥ suprītāḥ saṃ tataḥ abhavan |
ତାପରେ ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ଶୁଭ ଓ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମହାର୍ହ ରତ୍ନଦ୍ୱାରା ସମ୍ମାନିତ ହେଲେ। ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ଓ ଉତ୍ତମ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଧାନ କରି ସେମାନେ ପରମ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ହେଲେ ଏବଂ ପରେ ସନ୍ତୋଷରେ ସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ।
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic dāna: honoring worthy recipients (here, Brāhmaṇas) with valuable and auspicious gifts, along with respectful treatment, results in genuine satisfaction and social harmony.
Bhīṣma describes a scene where Brāhmaṇas are ceremonially honored with precious jewels and fine clothing; as a result, they become fully pleased and content.
