निर्वेदोपदेशः (Nirveda-Upadeśa) — Maṅki’s Dispassion and the Limits of Wealth-Seeking
ततो मेरुव्रजं नाम नगरं शैलतोरणम् | शैलप्राकारवप्रं च शैलयन्त्राकुलं तथा
tato meruvrajaṃ nāma nagaraṃ śailatoraṇam | śailaprākāravapraṃ ca śailayantrākulaṃ tathā ||
ତାପରେ ସେ ‘ମେରୁବ୍ରଜ’ ନାମକ ନଗରକୁ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲା; ତାହାର ତୋରଣଦ୍ୱାର ମଧ୍ୟ ପର୍ବତସଦୃଶ ଶିଳାର ଥିଲା। ନଗରଟି ଶିଳାପ୍ରାକାର ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚ ବପ୍ରଦ୍ୱାରା ଘେରା ଥିଲା, ଏବଂ ସବୁଦିଗରେ ଶିଳାନିର୍ମିତ ରକ୍ଷାଯନ୍ତ୍ରରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥିଲା।
भीष्म उवाच
