Tapas as the Root of Attainment (तपः—साधनमूलप्रशंसा)
संरक्षति त्वां पवन: सखित्वेन न संशय: । तस्मात् त्व बहुशाखो5पि पर्णवान् पुष्पवानपि
saṃrakṣati tvāṃ pavanaḥ sakhitvena na saṃśayaḥ | tasmāt tvaṃ bahuśākho 'pi parṇavān puṣpavān api |
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଏଥିରେ ସନ୍ଦେହ ନାହିଁ ଯେ ବାୟୁଦେବ ତୁମକୁ ମିତ୍ର ଭାବି ରକ୍ଷା କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ତୁମେ ଅନେକ ଶାଖାରେ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ, ପତ୍ର ଓ ପୁଷ୍ପରେ ଶୋଭିତ ହୋଇ ଫୁଲିଫଳି ରହିଛ।
