भीष्म उवाच शृणु राजन्‌ कथां दिव्यां सर्वपापप्रणाशिनीम्‌ । नृपतेर्मुचुकुन्दस्य कथितां भार्गवेण वै

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca śṛṇu rājan kathāṃ divyāṃ sarvapāpapraṇāśinīm | nṛpater mucukundasya kathitāṃ bhārgaveṇa vai ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ହେ ରାଜନ୍! ସମସ୍ତ ପାପ ନାଶ କରୁଥିବା ଏହି ଦିବ୍ୟ କଥା ଶୁଣ। ଏହାକୁ ଭାର୍ଗବ ରାମ (ପରଶୁରାମ) ରାଜା ମୁଚୁକୁନ୍ଦଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲେ।
