Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)

पूजन्युवाच वैरं पञ्चसमुत्थानं तच्च बुध्यन्ति पण्डिता: । स्त्रीकृतं वास्तुजं वाग्ज॑ं ससापत्नापराधजम्‌

Transliteration

pūjanī uvāca: vairaṁ pañcasamutthānaṁ tac ca budhyanti paṇḍitāḥ | strīkṛtaṁ vāstujaṁ vāgjaṁ sasāpatnāparādhajam ||

Translation

ପୂଜନୀ କହିଲେ—ହେ ରାଜନ! ବୈର ପାଞ୍ଚଟି କାରଣରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୁଏ; ପଣ୍ଡିତମାନେ ଏହା ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଭାବେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି—(୧) ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ନେଇ, (୨) ଘର-ଭୂମି/ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିକୁ ନେଇ, (୩) କଠୋର ଓ ଆଘାତକାରୀ ବାକ୍ୟରୁ, (୪) ସୌତିନ-ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ଅପରାଧ/ଦ୍ୱେଷରୁ, ଏବଂ (୫) ପୂର୍ବକୃତ ଅପରାଧରୁ।
