न त्वन्यामिह मार्जाराद्‌ गतिं पश्यामि साम्प्रतम्‌ । विषमस्थो हायं शत्रु: कृत्यं चास्य महन्मया

Transliteration

na tv anyām iha mārjārād gatiṁ paśyāmi sāmpratam | viṣamastho hāyaṁ śatruḥ kṛtyaṁ cāsya mahan mayā ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଏହି ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତରେ ଏହି ବିଲେଇକୁ ଆଶ୍ରୟ କରିବା ଛଡ଼ା ମୋ ପାଇଁ ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ପଥ ଦେଖୁନି। ଯଦିଓ ଏହା ମୋର କଟୁ ଶତ୍ରୁ, ତଥାପି ଏବେ ଏହା ନିଜେ ଗଭୀର ସଙ୍କଟରେ ପଡ଼ିଛି; ଏବଂ ମୋ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଏହାର ମଧ୍ୟ ଏକ ବଡ଼ କାମ ସାଧିତ ହୋଇପାରେ।
