अदूरादाश्रमं कज्चिद्‌ वासार्थमगमं तदा

Transliteration

adūrād āśramaṃ kaścid vāsārtham agamaṃ tadā |

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ତାପରେ ସେଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଦୂର ନୁହେଁ, ରହିବା ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ ଆଶ୍ରମକୁ ଗଲି। ସେଠାରେ ‘ତନୁ’ ନାମକ ତପୋଧନ ଋଷି ଆସୁଥିବାକୁ ଦେଖିଲି—ସେ ଚୀରବସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ମୃଗଚର୍ମ ଧାରଣ କରିଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କ ଦେହ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଏବଂ ଅତି କୃଶ ଥିଲା।
