बभूवामर्षितो राजा वध॑ चास्य व्यरोचयत्‌ । सियारकी यह चपलता सुनकर शेर गुस्सेसे भर गया। उससे यह बात सही नहीं गयी; अतः मृगराजने उसका वध करनेका ही विचार कर लिया

Transliteration

babhūvāmṛṣito rājā vadhaṃ cāsya vyarocayat |

Translation

ଶିଆଳର ଏହି ଚପଳତା ଶୁଣି ରାଜା (ମୃଗରାଜ) କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଜ୍ୱଳି ଉଠିଲେ; ସେ କଥା ସହି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ, ତେଣୁ ତାହାକୁ ବଧ କରିବାକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ କଲେ।
