Gaṇa-nīti
गोत्रस्य नाशं कुर्वन्ति गणभेदस्य कारकम् । कुलोंमें जो कलह होते हैं, उनकी यदि कुलके वृद्ध पुरुषोंने उपेक्षा कर दी तो वे कलह गणोंमें फ़ूट डालकर समस्त कुलका नाश कर डालते हैं
gotrasya nāśaṁ kurvanti gaṇabhedasya kārakam |
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଯେମାନେ ଗଣଭେଦର କାରଣ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଗୋତ୍ରର ନାଶ କରନ୍ତି। କୁଳରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ କଳହ ଉଠେ ଏବଂ କୁଳର ବୃଦ୍ଧମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ଅବହେଳା କରନ୍ତି, ସେଇ ବିବାଦ ଗଣମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଫୁଟ ପକାଇ ଶେଷରେ ସମଗ୍ର କୁଳକୁ ଧ୍ୱଂସ କରିଦିଏ।
