दातुमर्ति ते वित्त वैदेह: सत्यसंगर: । प्रमाणं सर्वभूतेषु प्रग्रहं च भविष्यसि

Transliteration

dātum arhati te vittaṃ vaidehaḥ satyasaṅgaraḥ | pramāṇaṃ sarvabhūteṣu pragrahaṃ ca bhaviṣyasi ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ବିଦେହର ରାଜା ସତ୍ୟରେ ଅଟୁଟ ଓ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞାରେ ଦୃଢ; ସେ ତୁମକୁ ଧନ ଦେବାକୁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ। ପବିତ୍ର ବ୍ୟବହାର ଓ ଉତ୍ତମ କର୍ମଦ୍ୱାରା ତାଙ୍କର ତୁମ ପ୍ରତି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଜନ୍ମାଅ। ସେ ସତ୍ୟପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞ, ତେଣୁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତୁମକୁ ଧନ ଦେବେ। ଏପରି ହେଲେ ତୁମେ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରମାଣଭୂତ (ବିଶ୍ୱାସପାତ୍ର) ଓ ରାଜକାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ସଦୃଶ ହେବ।
