भীমेन युधिष्ठिरस्य त्यागवृत्तेः प्रतिषेधः

Bhīma’s Rebuttal of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Renunciatory Inclination

तस्मादिह कृतप्रज्ञास्त्यागं न परिचक्षते । धर्मव्यतिक्रमं चैव मन्यन्ते सूक्ष्मदर्शिन:

Transliteration

tasmādiha kṛtaprajñās tyāgaṃ na paricakṣate | dharmavyatikramaṃ caiva manyante sūkṣmadarśinaḥ ||

Translation

ଭୀମ କହିଲେ—ଏହିହେତୁ ଏହି ସମୟରେ କୃତପ୍ରଜ୍ଞ ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ତ୍ୟାଗ କିମ୍ବା ସନ୍ନ୍ୟାସକୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମଦର୍ଶୀମାନେ ତ ଏପରି ସମୟରେ, ବିଶେଷକରି କ୍ଷତ୍ରିୟ ପାଇଁ, ସନ୍ନ୍ୟାସକୁ ଧର୍ମ-ବ୍ୟତିକ୍ରମ ବୋଲି ମନେ କରନ୍ତି।
