इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत शल्यपर्वमें व्यू-निर्माणविषयक आठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
nāgān rathavarāṁś ca vānye parivārya mahārathāḥ | sāntarāyodhināṁ jaghnuḥ dravamāṇaṁ mahāratham ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ତାପରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ମହାରଥମାନେ ଅନେକ ଗଜ ଓ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ରଥୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘେରି ନେଲେ; ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରୁଥିବା ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କ ଅବରୋଧ ଭେଦି, ପଳାଉଥିବା ମହାରଥକୁ ନିହତ କଲେ।
