वृतं भूतगणैघोरि: क्रव्यादैश्व समन्‍्ततः । यथा धन लिप्समानैर्भुत्यै्नुपतिसत्तमम्‌

Transliteration

vṛtaṃ bhūtagaṇair ghoraiḥ kravyādaiś ca samantataḥ | yathā dhana-lipsamānair bhṛtyair nṛpati-sattamam ||

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ସେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଭୂତଗଣ ଓ ମାଂସଭକ୍ଷୀ ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସମସ୍ତ ଦିଗରୁ ଘେରାଯାଇଥିଲେ। ଯେପରି ଧନଲୋଭୀ ଭୃତ୍ୟମାନେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଘେରି ରହନ୍ତି, ସେପରି ସେମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଚାରିପଟେ ଘେରିଥିଲେ।
