ततः प्राध्मापयन्‌ शड्खान्‌ पाउ्चजन्यं च माधव: । ह्ृष्टा दुर्योधन दृष्टवा निहतं पुरुषर्षभ

Transliteration

tataḥ prādhmāpayan śaṅkhān pāñcajanyaṃ ca mādhavaḥ | hṛṣṭā duryodhanaṃ dṛṣṭvā nihataṃ puruṣarṣabha ||

Translation

ତେବେ ମାଧବ (କୃଷ୍ଣ) ଶଙ୍ଖଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ—ବିଶେଷକରି ପାଞ୍ଚଜନ୍ୟକୁ—ଧ୍ୱନିତ କରାଇଲେ। ପୁରୁଷବୃଷଭ ଦୁର୍ଯ୍ୟୋଧନ ନିହତ ହୋଇଥିବାକୁ ଦେଖି ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନେ ହର୍ଷରେ ଭରିଗଲେ; ଅଧର୍ମୀ ନେତାର ପତନ ଯୁଦ୍ଧଭାରର ଶେଷ ଓ ଧର୍ମସ୍ଥାପନାର ସଙ୍କେତ ଦେଲା।
