पाण्डुभ्य: प्रार्थ्मानो5पि पित्र्यमंशं न दत्तवान्‌ | “विदुर, द्रोणाचार्य, कृपाचार्य, भीष्म तथा सूंजयोंके बारंबार प्रार्थना करनेपर भी इसने पाण्डवोंको उनका पैतृक भाग नहीं दिया

Transliteration

pāṇḍubhyaḥ prārthyamāno 'pi pitryam aṁśaṁ na dattavān |

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ: ପାଣ୍ଡବମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ପୁନଃପୁନଃ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ପୈତୃକ, ଧର୍ମସମ୍ମତ ଅଂଶ ଦେଲା ନାହିଁ। ବିଦୁର, ଦ୍ରୋଣ, କୃପ, ଭୀଷ୍ମ ଓ ସଞ୍ଜୟଙ୍କ ଆବର୍ତ୍ତିତ ନିବେଦନ ସତ୍ତ୍ୱେ ପାଣ୍ଡବମାନଙ୍କ ନ୍ୟାୟ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାର ସେ ଅଟକାଇ ରଖିଲା।
