Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage
āśrame ceha vatsyāmi tvayā sārtham ahaṃ sadā | saptasārasvate cāsmin yo mām arcayiṣyate naraḥ |
The verse teaches that sincere worship (arcana) at a sacred place, supported by disciplined life in an āśrama, draws divine grace that removes scarcity and grants spiritual assurance across both this life and the next.
In Vaiśampāyana’s narration, a deity promises to remain present in the hermitage with the sage and declares that anyone who worships him at the Saptasārasvata tīrtha will gain exceptional benefit and attain an exalted destination.
