तत्रादृश्यन्त गन्धर्वास्तथैवाप्सरसां गणा:
tatrādṛśyanta gandharvāstathaivāpsarasāṃ gaṇāḥ
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ସେଠାରେ ଗନ୍ଧର୍ବମାନେ ଦେଖାଯାଉଥିଲେ, ଏବଂ ସେହିପରି ଅପ୍ସରାମାନଙ୍କ ଦଳମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ; ଏହା ଦିବ୍ୟଲୋକର ସାନ୍ନିଧ୍ୟର ଚିହ୍ନ—ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ କମ୍ପିତ ଜଗତରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧର୍ମନିୟମ ଅନୁସାରେ ଦେଖୁଛନ୍ତି ଓ ହସ୍ତକ୍ଷେପ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores that human conflict unfolds under a wider cosmic gaze: celestial beings appear as markers of a larger moral and metaphysical order (ṛta/dharma) that frames the consequences of war.
The narrator reports a vision at the scene: Gandharvas and companies of Apsarases are seen there, indicating a supernatural or heavenly presence accompanying the events being described in this section of Śalya Parva.
