उवाच परुष॑ वाक्यं शशाप च महातपा: । पशुलुब्धौ युवां यस्मान्मामुत्सृज्य प्रधाविती
uvāca paruṣaṃ vākyaṃ śaśāpa ca mahātapāḥ | paśulubdhau yuvāṃ yasmān mām utsṛjya pradhāvitī ||
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ: ମହାତପସ୍ବୀ କଠୋର ବାକ୍ୟ କହି ଶାପ ଦେଲେ—“ତୁମେ ଦୁଇଜଣ ପଶୁ-ଲୋଭରେ ପଡ଼ି ମୋତେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦୌଡ଼ିଗଲା କାହିଁକି…।”
