भीमसेनस्य कौरवसुतवधः तथा श्रुतर्वावधः

आप्लुत्य पाण्डवानीकं पुनर्युद्धमरोचयन् । प्रजानाथ! कुछ लोग अपने रथकी रणसामग्रीसे सुसज्जित करके पाण्डव-सेनापर चढ़ आते और अपनी प्रधानताके अनुसार किसी श्रेष्ठ वीरके साथ जूझना पसंद करते थे ।। ते शूरा: किड्किणीजालै: समाच्छज्ना बभासिरे
sañjaya uvāca | āplutya pāṇḍavānīkaṃ punar yuddham arocayan | te śūrāḥ kiḍkiṇījālaiḥ samācchannā babhāsire ||
ପାଣ୍ଡବ-ସେନା ଉପରେ ଝାପି ପଡ଼ି ସେମାନେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ହିଁ ବାଛିଲେ। ସେଇ ଶୂରମାନେ ରଥର ରଣସାମଗ୍ରୀରେ ସୁସଜ୍ଜିତ, କିଙ୍କିଣୀ-ଜାଲରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହୋଇ ଦୀପ୍ତିମାନ ଦେଖାଯାଉଥିଲେ—ଏବଂ ନିଜ ପଦ ଓ ପରାକ୍ରମ ଅନୁସାରେ କୌଣସି ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ବୀରଙ୍କ ସହ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଥିଲେ।
