उदतिष्ठन् कबन्धानि बहुन्युत्थाय चापतन् । सहसौरों मनुष्य मारे जाकर पृथ्वीपर पड़े थे। उनमेंसे बहुतेरे कबन्ध (धड़) उठकर खड़े हो जाते और पुनः गिर पड़ते थे

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ— ଅନେକ କବନ୍ଧ ଉଠି ଦାଁଡ଼ାଇଲେ, ଏବଂ ଉଠି ପୁନଃ ପଡ଼ିଗଲେ। ସହସ୍ର ସହସ୍ର ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ହତ ହୋଇ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ପଡ଼ିଥିଲେ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଅନେକ ଧଡ଼ ଉଠି ପୁନଃ ଭୂମିରେ ଢଳି ପଡ଼ୁଥିଲା।
