द्रौपहयुवाच कथं त्वेवं वदसि प्रातिकामिन्‌ को हि दीव्येद्‌ भार्यया राजपुत्र: । मूढो राजा द्यूतमदेन मत्तो हाभून्नान्यत्‌ कैतवमस्य किंचित्‌

drauapady uvāca kathaṃ tv evaṃ vadasi prātikāmin ko hi dīvyed bhāryayā rājaputraḥ | mūḍho rājā dyūtamadena matto hābhūn nānyat kaitavam asya kiṃcit ||

ଦ୍ରୌପଦୀ କହିଲେ—ପ୍ରାତିକାମିନ୍! ତୁ ଏପରି କିପରି କହୁଛୁ? କେଉଁ ରାଜପୁତ୍ର ନିଜ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟାକୁ ଦାଉରେ ରଖି ଦ୍ୟୂତ ଖେଳିବ? ରାଜା ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିର ଦ୍ୟୂତମଦରେ ଏତେ ମୂଢ ହୋଇଗଲେ କି, ଦେବାକୁ ଆଉ କିଛି ରହିଲା ନାହିଁ? ଏହା ତ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଛଳ।
