Adhyāya 31: Rājasūya-samāgama — The Gathering of Kings and the Ordering of Hospitality

एवमनिनिवररं प्रादात्‌ स्त्रीणामप्रतिवारणे । वरिण्यस्तत्र नार्यो हि यथेष्टं विचरन्त्युत

Transliteration

evam anivāraṇaṁ prādāt strīṇām aprativāraṇe | variṇyas tatra nāryo hi yatheṣṭaṁ vicaranty uta ||

Translation

ଏଭଳି (ଅଗ୍ନିଦେବ) ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅପ୍ରତିବାର୍ୟ, ଅବରୋଧରହିତ ବର ଦେଲେ—କେହି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ରୋକିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ସେଠାର ନାରୀମାନେ ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ଭାବେ ବିଚରଣ କରି ସ୍ୱୟଂ ବର ବାଛୁଥିଲେ।
