Samrāt-Lakṣaṇa and the Counsel to Check Jarāsandha (सम्राट्-लक्षणं जरासन्ध-प्रतिबाधा-परामर्शः)
समारम्भो न शक्योडयमन्यथा कुरुनन्दन । राजसूयश्न कार्त्स्न्येन कर्तु मतिमतां वर,बुद्धिमानोंमें श्रेष्ठ कुसनन्दन! ऐसा किये बिना राजसूययज्ञका आयोजन पूर्णरूपसे सफल न हो सकेगा
samārambho na śakyo ’yam anyathā kurunandana | rājasūyaḥ na kārtsnyena kartuṃ matimatāṃ vara ||
ହେ କୁରୁନନ୍ଦନ, ଏହି ଉଦ୍ୟମ ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ପଥରେ ସାଧ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ। ହେ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ, ଏପରି ନ କଲେ ରାଜସୂୟ ଯଜ୍ଞ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ସଫଳ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
