Vaiśampāyana uvāca | Dārukaś caiva Dāśārham ūcatur yan nibodha tat | śatrūṇāṃ nagarī-parāṃ vijayaṃ prāptum arhantau mahā-tejasvī Babhruś ca Dārukaś ca tadā Yādavān saṃharantaṃ Śrī-Kṛṣṇam yat kiṃcid ūcatuḥ, tac chṛṇu |

ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଦାରୁକ ଓ ବଭ୍ରୁ ଦାଶାର୍ହ ଶ୍ରୀକୃଷ୍ଣଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ—ତାହା ଶୁଣ। ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ନଗରୀ ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଜୟ ଲାଭ କରିପାରୁଥିବା ମହାତେଜସ୍ବୀ ବଭ୍ରୁ ଓ ଦାରୁକ, ଶ୍ରୀକୃଷ୍ଣ ଯାଦବମାନଙ୍କ ସଂହାର କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା କହିଥିଲେ, ତାହା ଶୁଣ।
