अशेत निशित: पत्री समरेष्वरिसूदन: । भीष्मद्रोणमुखान्‌ वीरान्‌ योडवमन्ये महारथान्‌

Transliteration

aśeta niśitaḥ patrī samareṣv arisūdanaḥ | bhīṣmadroṇamukhān vīrān yodham anye mahārathān ||

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ସମରରେ ସେ ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ଣପକ୍ଷୀ ଶତ୍ରୁସୂଦନ ବାଣଟି ସେଠାରେ ପଡ଼ିଥିଲା; ତାହା ଭୀଷ୍ମ-ଦ୍ରୋଣପ୍ରମୁଖ ବୀରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ମହାରଥୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ପତିତ କରିଥିଲା।
