यथाद्य समरे कर्ण हनिष्यामि हतो5पि वा । महीतले पतिष्यामि सत्येनायुधमालभे

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | yathādya samare karṇa haniṣyāmi hato 'pi vā | mahītale patiṣyāmi satyenāyudham ālabhe ||

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ— ଅର୍ଜୁନ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କଲେ— “ଆଜି ସମରରେ ମୁଁ କର୍ଣ୍ଣକୁ ବଧ କରିବି; ନଚେତ୍ ନିଜେ ହତ ହୋଇ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ପଡ଼ିବି। ସତ୍ୟର ଶପଥେ, ଧନୁଷକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରି ଏହି ବ୍ରତ ଧରୁଛି।”
